Quality control

Quality control in the foundry is carried out in two stages:

The first one is carried out by means of the molten metal, which is analysed at each tapping by a computerised teck-tip system adjacent to the foundry.

In parallel to the teck-tip system, a small internal laboratory equipped with quantometer and electron microscope works, thanks to which the chemical-physical quality of the cast iron can be checked according to the customer’s needs.

The second phase is carried out after the castings are cleaned and shot-blasted, during shipping and packaging, here a visual dimensional check is carried out according to the standards supplied by the customer.

For chemical and mechanical laboratory tests with issue of relative certification, the foundry relies on an external, specialised and certified laboratory.
